Thank you Mercman. Interesting photos compared to the one I have. Your 1st photo shows the SN near the lip. The part I have the SN is down inside. Also, in the latter two photos the subject appears to be stamped, wherein mine is cast and much more stout. Also the SN in my piece is mostly obliterated from the casting. I wonder if Ford figured out a way to save a nickel at some point by stamping instead of casting, paricularly on overseas vehicles.??
