I have a sandblasted '35 swivel ashtray that goes in waterfall of a '35 dash. Has anybody disassembled one of these to re-paint it? Any tricks? I also read in another thread that the ashtray when it is swiveled to the positing that the receptacle part is facing the interior can be pulled out for cleaning. I don't see mechanically how this can happen. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks.
