I bought a one-piece, custom made, stainless steel fuel line for my '55 from a place called Inline Tube. Perfect fit and exactly as original including the jacketed areas. They are for body-off-frame resto installations though. I dont know if they still exist.
At that time it costed about $110 for the stainless steel. They did offer plain steel and it is much cheaper.
