Thanks for the info..
I am looking at a 54 convertible, $2400. but want nothing to do with that old
under the floor braking system....
My 56 Packard, thanks to Mr. Nance was still using the floor\rail system Bendix
brakes... And without doing some major mod to the fire wall or removing the air
intake duct from the engine compartment there is no place for a modern MC .
Not sure I'm going to buy the 54, but wanted some heads up...
I have a 292 out of a 64 truck, with 3sp. But the car also has floor rust...
I keep saying I'm getting too old to start new projects...
We had a 51 Ford custom when I was a kid, I loved that car, my brother got it when
the parents bought a 62 Ford wagon, which is one of the cars I'm working on now and
rust out passenger side floor pans are keeping it in the driveway..
