It is oddly pleasing that you would elect to go back to the six, which was widely distained in my hot rod days, in spite of the fact that the six is a very good engine. You will enjoy the low end torque.

A bit of advice: Get a complete list of what parts may be needed to make the conversion and be sure you have a source for all of them before you yank the 302.
