Tom Wesenberg of Ford Barn makes a band regulator and there is another place to get a very reliable voltage regulator. James Peterson makes an excellent quality band type voltage regulator. Use the band regulator with a diode cutout and you will be good to go. Go the Vince Falter's "Ford Garage" page and get all the information on the VR.
