And I can't find it but I'm wondering if there was difference between U.S. and Canadian built Fords. We did keep the flathead one year longer here in Canada so maybe six volts too?
I had a '56 2 door Mainline with 6 volts. It was a Connecticut state car, but not police. But the story was that some lesser agencies might get hand-me-down police radios. There was no sign that my car ever had a 2-way.
