Default Re: any of you boys lost a T in the Mississippi?

Several years ago I bought these cars in Kansas. They were stacked up in 1936 on the bank of the Walnut Creek to keep the berm around the new sewage plant from washing away. Quite a few of them are now on the road again some restored, some hot rodded. There were a lot of Ts in the mix. There are quite a few in the river downstream as a result of violent floods over the years. A television show on restoring cars did several episodes on restoring a 27 Essex from this group. By the time they were done they had concocted a story that the car had been raced way back & still bore its number - they even showed it at the Rat Rod national show in Vegas. I painted the numbers with a rattle can so I could identify the individual cars from pictures since I live most of the time 1400 miles away.
