good morning guys,thank's for all the suggestions.i like the crock pot idea.will be going out today to find one. thirt4 sorry i did not mention year or model. i am working on two.one is from my 1950 f5 that has a mercury tea pot carb and the other is a 50-53 mercury with a 90* elbow moving the oil bath off to the passenger side of carb.i see what you mean about the sound chamber.there is a threaded hole in both unites for a support bracket to intake manifold which will drain liquid from the chamber.both unites have HH stamped in on the bottom.anybody know.thanks to all for welcomed advice,john
