Default Then disaster struck !

Having sacrificed Sunday lunch in my eagerness to cure the Model B of a nasty backfire through the exhaust I decided to take the car for a spin. The car went like a finely tuned Model 18. Arriving home I decided to write to FoMoCo and tell them how good this motorcar is and in Clyde Barrow style suggest that even today this would make a fine getaway car.

But,lo and behold, my enthusiasm to put pen to paper was dashed when I noticed that the Ford emblem on my shiny exhaust tip had become detached and was likely somewhere on the six mile stretch of tarmac on which I had travelled.

My initial thought (in true Yankee style) was to sue the pants off the manufacturers of JB Weld whose product I thought would secure the emblem forever.....how wrong could I be!

So back to the drawing board.....
