One my best old fiends (passed now) restored his 54 Merc to exact original condition. 8 years of tedious work/pleasure. Anyway he sent his radio to a fellow down south for restoration. The fellow called when it was done and proudly announced he could pick up Raleigh clear as a bell.
Sure enough it worked just great up here in Massachusetts.
So he called the guy to let him know he was happy.
The only problem was that he could not pick up Raleigh!!
