I had the "Wonderbar" radio in my '47 converted to AM/FM years ago. The bar now switches between AM & FM. the outward appearance is unchanged. FM is particularly important, as it avoids the ignition static, and for the most part, the rattle and bang of much of the "modern" music, for us old coots.
