I used the stock distributor that came on the 312 engine.....no changes to the vacuum line....just re-shaped it to fit the port on the Rochester. No correction needed. But I also used an electronic module. I am sure it was stock, since the car had only 20K miles on it....had the single vacuum diaphragm from the factory on a 312 motor. I put anther 200K miles on it, all trouble free.
