Default Re: Head Gasket for the 6:1 Iron head

I used Snyder's silicone ringed gasket for 6+ years on the engines I built in long block form. I constantly had to remind my customers to torque the head multiple times. If they did, they had little problems with using them. Those that did not keep on a schedule to retorque them had trouble and complained about it.
I tried their new composite "Best" gasket 2+ years ago and now only use that one. It requires much less re-torquing; it usually reaches it's equilibrium after three re-torques.
That said: I have about four of the silicone gaskets "new in the wrapper" if someone wants a deal!
Good Day!
