Thanks for the kind words. I'm not an expert but I run and repair my Simmons carbs. The problem may be with the float. I set float level like I do with a Zenith. I either add or subtract gaskets under the needle seat to raise or lower the float. The Zenith idle jet may work, they are very similiar.
