I needed more back support for my 1930 Model A Tudor so I installed a couple of front seats from a more modern car. I made an adapter bracket that fit the original Model A seat mount uprights and also bolted directly to the new seat adjustment racks. I did not have to alter anything in the Model A nor on the new seat racks. And the new seats will tilt forward just like the originals so riders can get into the back seat area. All it took was a length of 1" angle iron that bolts to the seat racks and a couple of tabs welded onto the angle irons for bolting the adapter to the stock Model A mounts. Simple, easy to make too.
