I rebuilt mine. Handfuls of rust and mud dauber nests came out when I took it apart. I finally had to heat a couple of the screws in the fields to get them loose. Penetrant and heat over a couple days. I cleaned everything up, replaced brushes and insulators. New bushings. Cleaned field coils and gave them a few coats of electrical insulating varnish, new bendix spring and bolts. New switch and works like new.
