Ok Guys got good news , went to a local starter shop just for info. guy was very help ful. Do not use a start/charge by itself, could burn out an electrical component . can use a 12v batt. just for short spins they do it all the time. so i did , starter works fine. thanks for the replys, as a carpenter might say measure twice cut once.. tHANKS ALL , THE HOOCH
