Will these photos and instructions help? Last photo shows wind lace as it's tucked between end of dash and A pillar. Should be installed before the dash but, perhaps it would be possible to loosen the dash bolts and nuts and screws enough to move the dash slightly and carefully slip it in. Best to remove dash so you have space to work for a clean installation. Steering wheel is 50 Ford Crestliner from Limeworks - not DeLuxe 40 Ford. Ash trays are early production "push in and slide upward" style. Chrome strips above and below ashtrays are home made (steel) , then plated.
