Following this thread got me thinking. I used later 46-47 side shift gears in my 48-7006 case. I believe it was from a 37 that I had acquired a long time ago with an engine attached. I just crawled under it a few minutes ago and it also had the strengthening rib running the full length of the case. It is running in my T-A as seen in my avatar. But I am not using a 29 tooth cluster. Mac is a big help with these transmissions. Good luck with yours louisb.
