Do you have the proper peening tools?

Have you researched how to work the babbitt pot properly?

There is a lot to how you melt the babbitt and control the pour to get small crystals. Are you planning on getting the correct Ford babbitt or the grade 2 babbitt that is close? The proper babbitt is tough to pour. My brother poured and beat out babbitt to see how it pour many many times till he could pour consistently.

What I am getting out is doing it right take quite a bit of effort and expense.
