Hi; I occasionally buy beater wheels and drill out the 17 rivits and then cut the rim to release the center. Then I can sell the centers for $20 @ at a Swap to fellows who send them to a custom wheel shop for modern rim to be installed. Have seen a '37 with 15" modern rims on the original centers. Circle track rims start at 8" wide and are made for 5/8" studs, oversize lug nuts are available for the 1/2' studs. See the avatar on HAMB. Note; I use the old cut rims as garden hose hangers! Newc
