Default Re: 59a in a '35, where to mount the fan???

TFB
I have a 36 3 window coupe with a 59 block hooked up to a stock 36 trans. I used the old 36 gen. housing and installed 60's Ford 12v fields and now have a 40 amp 12v generator, with regulator mounted on the inside of firewall. I left to engine compartment free of any extra gadgets. I installed the original 36 fan . It will run 160-170 degrees & on days of 90 it will run 180 in either head.No need for an auxiliary fan as of yet.
There is a place in Calif (a Ed Whitney )that installs a 12v alt. in a 36 housing that will produce 70 amps. Looks almost original , the guts are from a Mitsubusi alternator. This will also used with original fan.
Hope this helped
Bill
