The Ford Barn - View Single Post - 1941 Garwood Dump box hoist Hydraulic fluid type?

I realize this may not be the best place to post this question, but figured maybe someone here would know. I'm trying to figure out what type of hydraulic fluid to use on my Garwood Model D6. I'm guessing something made for tractors of the same time period should be ok? like JD20a compliant?
