The body shop is my garage, I'm the painter, The piece with then hump is not bolted in yet, it's there but it's not holding anything. No the thing that's holding the body up is the rear bumper brackets. You can see that it's the only place of contact. These guys have got me worried about this 1/4" I'm using a 1/8 welt now and I know when it came off there was no 1/4" rubber. There was about 1/8 of non descript material, all scrunched down and hard from 79 years (2009) of bumpy roads etc.
