Thanks friends- there are NO internal guide tubes and the top bearing was in alinement- time after time. Jackson111 said, keep trying, but I could not find either hole. I finely slid two #24 bell wires up and into steering tube, used the pin holes to anchor the wires to the rods, then pulled them in. Had to work at it, but it’s done.".....Dave
