Kids are resilient. Missing a slice of formal education will not destroy them. Whenever things return to 'normal', they will pick it up where they left off.
Exposure to the Model A, it's design and operation is a learning experience in itself.
Other comparable unstructured activities will provide them with tangible knowledge they will not gain in the classroom. i.e. motor skills, trial and error, problem solving, maintenance and repair, fabrication, nuts and bolts, etc., etc.
Great opportunity here ! The kids become the winners.
