Default Re: John Deer Corn grease --- ugh

A question : the corn head grease is used in areas of the combine head that the grease can surround the parts turning and can work well .a good place to use it on an old ford is the Universal joint as the joint turns the grease tends to throw out ward ,but this grease then tends to re flow to keep the joint coated . Now my concern using it in the steering box ; is that the sector shaft fits tightly into two bushings, can this grease be thin enough to lub these bushings especially the outer one. John.
