Dan, I wouldn't worry about the light dispersion of the fluted lenses. I run original 3-21 c.p. headlight bulbs on both my Model A's with fluted lenses. If the headlights are focused correctly, and your reflectors are re-silvered originals, they will throw a good beam of light.
