Re: Need info on adapting Model A engine to Model B pickup.
Use the original B pan and bell housing, head/water pump.
You may have to use the B front cover (the motor mount may locate differently) but remember the timing pin is in a different position.
You will need an electric fuel pump as the A block has no provision for a mechanical pump.
I may be missing something.... but everything else should fit OK.
Last but not least the A had 10 less horsepower from the B
