Loggers could take a tract,determine dead and dying timber,harvest it and remediate the logging site at a profit,It was good for the forest,prevented fires and provided a basis for the local economy.Power line right of ways and fire breaks were maintained.Environmentalist groups aided by the political ideology out here stopped it,in there zeal to eliminate land management they turned it back over to God,who is very efficient in forestry management,ruthless but efficient.
