Here in Tennessee, I was told by DMV that I didn't need to 'Title/Tag' my trailer.
I told her I wanted to anyway - she said it would cost. I'm willing to pay a couple dollars every year to know my trailer has a chance of being tracked. I normally only use the trailer when I am traveling out of state anyway, and I didn't want any hassle with states that require tags.
