You cannot delete the ad. You can edit it by going back and deleting the text and write "sold" for the text. You can also edit the title of the ad by adding "sold" to the end of the title.
If the ad has been there for a long time, you may not even have the option of editing. If that is the case, the best thing to do is reply to your own ad with the only text to be "sold". Or, you can just leave it alone and hope that it fades into the sunset.
