I used the gasket Snyders recommended for their head.

This is from Snyder's website:

"The 1932-34 model B version gasket is recommended with all 1932-34 stock heads as well as 1928-31 5.5:1 Snyder brand high compression head."

part number:B-6051-M

I torque the head to 55# and had to re-torque it several times after that. After it settled to 55# I torque to 60# and did it three times for it to finally settle in at 60#.
No sign of a leak anywhere and it is running great.
