Exhaust systems are either fun to build or a real pain in the butt. They are real pleasant to do when you have the correct parts on hand to fabricate your own system. The clamp mentioned above is one part, and besides the tubing, straight or mandrel pre-bent, what we need are those ugly clamps. Here was my solution….Horton’s Welder Series exhaust pipe brackets and rubber hi-temp grommets.

The triangular flat bracket has a rounded end to weld to the pipe, make you own frame bracket to suit, and use the special rubber grommet for the dampening. With these pieces, I really enjoy making my own exhaust system.

You can probably see some of the details in the photos.
