If you get a wiring diagram of your vehicle it is not that difficult, I would recommend many different colors of wire. My first new car was a 54 mainline.

I just completed a total rewire on my 53 Customline using a 12 circuit kit from EZ Wiring. It was pretty easy and headache free since all wires are different colors and labeled every 5 inches as to where it should go.
