A ford Taurus/Thunderbird with a 3.8 V6 has a 130 amp alternator. One ground wire, one 12v wire, and one wire to the battery. Internal regulator. lots of these cars in the junk yard. The Taurus also has an excelent electric fan. keeps everything Ford.
