FYI, one approach:
I with ya not putting Chevrolet parts on the ole Ford, the alt I choose was typ to a GM but not made by GM. The case is about 1" less in dia.
One wire smaller profile 100a, home made bracket, wide grove pulley, 4 blade (35-36) fan not mounted for picture.
