It was apparently rebuilt not long before being removed from service.
I took it apart for checking and freshing it up. I have not taken the crank out. The cylinders show no wear. The valves and seats are fine. The cam and crank are later. I believe a fresh set of rings would be all it needs. It has the press on timing gear that should be replaced also. I started removing the rings as that was what I intended to do. It was in a hot rod as it is paintd red and has been relieved. The owner had a famous California gold full fendered roadster and I think this is engine may have came from that car.
It is very clean and undamaged.
Correct 32 V8 engine with the straight down water cocks.
