These are around. Four bolts so these are "Model A." They are thought to be "aftermarket" pumps available at Pep-Boys, Western Auto, J.C. Whitney and others through the 1950s.
They are unusual in that they utilize the guts and impeller of a later V8 pump installation, and like the V8 Pump they incorporate a lip seal rather than packing. Hence no brass or zinc packing gland.
The downside is that parts for these are not available, although in real life they're not a bad pump and many originals survive without leaking.
I have one of these I don't use, although I see a "rebuild kit" for the V8 pump is available from the parts houses, and this could possibly be adapted to "bring this pump back" should it be necessary.
But a "real" Model A pump either in the original version or the "Leakless" version is a much better known - and repairable - entity.
