Yes, when I stand in front of the car I am turning the nut to the left.
I thought the same thing.....Did they change the direction of the screw for model B engines from the model A engines?
All my model A books state "a right hand screw"
can't find anything about changing the timing gear in my collection of ford service bullitins either.
The area around the nut is not even rusted or anything strange.
