Hey deuce, are you asking me a question or giving me an answer ? Those rubbers have a large moulded edge so would work either way to some degree depending on weather your priority is stopping the hood rattling on the inside or giving more protection against banging the hood on the headlight shell if mounted outside. The hole for the rivet head in the rubber is stepped/recessed which would indicate that it would fit better on the outside of the panel otherwise the rivet would be around the wrong way. I just want to know what is original and correct, not just an opinion. Thanks, Kevin.
