Speaking of early roadster pickups ---- it was my understanding that even though many Model A pickups got early features such as left-hand emergency brakes, it was because Ford used outdated features on the commercial line of vehicles until they were all used up, whereas the cars got the new features as they came out. I have a 28 RPU with provision for the left hand emergency brake, but I think that it was manufactured in late 1928. Anybody know when the first Model A roadster pickup was made, and at about what serial number???
