Your car DOES look to be a 28 or 29 sport coupe. I had a 29 sport coupe I restored on a shoestring when going to college, many, many years ago. I have a suggestion when you decide to restore it or what ever you do - take a lot of pictures and label the parts as you dismantle the car. You really can't have too many pictures. You will really appreciate the pictures when you start to reassemble the car - don't ask me how I know! There are many helpful and knowledgeable people on Fordbarn that can usually answer any questions you have. Good luck with your model A endeaver.
