Does he possibly have a registration certificate from years ago. If so and a bill of sale may work. I'm not sure you title in Co.if you're not a resident. This info is several years old. In Louisiana we now can title antiques off a bill of sale. I would talk to the state police acting like I am just wanting info and see what they say. Philip
