He stopped at a hardware store and bought a Hudson pump orchard sprayer and some aquarium hose. The hose was run to the radiator overflow pipe from the Hudson sprayer. I think this is the answer I was looking for, because ... If I am driving my Model A across USA and suddently have a pump or radiator problem, I just want to continue by topping off the hot and running engine ... because maybe I have several hundred miles to go before I can get help.
