I don't know that this is much help but Vince's Ford Garage site discusses how he found the triangular part, and the vertical brace, to require re-working to make things fit correctly. I don't know what era of reproductions he was dealing with and his pics relate to a later coupe but you still might want to look at his site.

Your three holes on the vertical brace are not straight up-and-down, so something is out of whack, as you already know.

I just noticed that the guy who did my bodywork had to elongate the holes on the right-hand side vertical brace to make the rumble hinge bracket align, so something ain't Hoyle with the repros.
