Since I'm not overly versed in 50's Fords or before... I am curious about VIN number locations.....

the two previous cars I was looking at didn't pan out, but found another 2 for one deal, near by... this time both 2 door cars.

one of the cars that is a parts car doesn't have a VIN number plate (according to owner- haven't seen them yet), he got the car from original owner. Apparently, the original owners kid started to fix it up and apparently removed it and about everything else on the car, but glass and grill and most of the body is good.
what I am curious about is... in 54, is the VIN anywhere else on the car/frame?
