A couple of years ago, I bought one of those new Model A transmissions from Mikes that were made in Denmark. It would jump out of 3rd gear when on compression. Called them and they sent me another Denmark replacement. After a lot of work again, same thing - jumped out of 3rd gear still. Removed it again and rebuilt my original transmission - works fine. Lots of work and $700 wasted. I don't like to knock a vendor, but the post was asking. Inspect your gears for condition and maybe you will only have to replace shafts, bearings and seals.
