Know what you are talking about. Used to camp all the time when going to rod runs, now the wife's idea of camping is Motel 6!

Hang in there guy, went through 5 days during an ice storm while in rural TN. Had water, snow to keep the food good and the a gas range for coffee (life blood for us old Navy guys), cooking and heating water for washing up. Even in sub freezing temps we were able to stay comfortable (reasonably so) buy closing off all the house but the three rooms we lived in.
